taffetas.jpgThe Copperstate Dinner Theater At Phoenix Greyhound Park is pleased to announce the opening of the delightful musical revue The Taffetas. We are very pleased to announce that The Taffetas at The Copperstate Dinner Theater will play from June 1st and has been held over until August 26th.

The Copperstate Dinner Theater production of The Taffetas is directed by a ‘Taffeta’s’ pro - Debra Qualtire and musically directed by Russ Noble. The production stars some of the best voices to ever grace our stage: Debra Qualtire, who you might remember from Broadway Jukebox and Somewhere in the Night - The Barry Manilow Songbook, Elizabeth Reeves - Broadway Jukebox, A Beautiful Noise - The Neil Diamond Songbook, and Nuncrackers, and new-comers to the Copperstate stage, Laura Webb and Lacy Sauter.

It‘s 1950 - something and Kaye, Peggy, Cheryl and Donna - four singing sisters from Muncie, Indiana - are making their national television debut on ‘Spotlight in Music‘, framing an evening of memorable tunes from the 50’s and 60’s. The Taffetas is a delightful, nostalgic nod to the girls groups of the 1950‘s.

The Taffetas will play at the Copperstate Dinner Theater, 3801 E. Washington inside the Phoenix Greyhound Park. Performances are Friday & Saturday evenings dinner 6:30, curtain 8:00, with Sunday Supper Shows with dinner 5:30 and curtain 7:00. The ticket price for all performances is only $32.95 per person which includes dinner and the show as well as tax and gratuity. Dinner is a sit-down service, not buffet, with a choice of four delicious entrees: prime rib, grilled salmon filet, teriyaki chicken breast, and vegetable lasagna. Meals come with side dishes, salad with choice of dressing, rolls and butter. Appetizers, desserts and beverages are extra. A full bar is available. Reservations can be made at (602) 279-3129.
