The production stars Jesse Berger, Jasmin Feleciano, Jessica Godber, Mike Heslin, Noel Irick, Katrina Reyes, Stephanie Anne Landers, Matt McDonald, Kerry McDonough, Chrystalle Reed, Patrick Salazar, Michael Stewart and George Wahl.

Cabaret is written by Joe Masteroff, with lyrics by Fred Ebb and music by John Kander. It was adapted into an Academy Award winning film starring Liza Minelli and Joel Grey and directed by Bob Fosse.

Cabaret is based on John Van Druten’s play, I Am a Camera, which in turn was based on the novel Goodbye to Berlin by Christopher Isherwood. Cabaret debuted on Broadway in 1966 and was produced and directed by Hal Prince (Show Boat, Phantom of the Opera). It starred Bert Convy, Jack Gilford, Jill Haworth, Lotte Lenya and Joel Grey as the Emcee. It ran 1165 performances and won the Tony Awards for Best Musical, Best Composer and Lyricist, Best Supporting Actor in a Musical (Grey) and Best Direction of a Musical.

Cabaret has been revived on Broadway twice in 1987 and 1998. The 1987 revival starred Joel Grey in a return to the role as the Emcee, which he originated in 1966. The 1998 revival, produced by Roundabout Theater Company, directed by Sam Mendes, and co-directed and choreographed by Rob Marchall, was the third longest-running revival in Broadway musical history.
