No Sex Please, We’re British - A young bride who lives above a bank with her husband, innocently sends a mail order off for some Scandinavian glassware. What comes is Scandinavian pornography. Add the husband’s mother, his boss, a visiting bank inspector, a police superintendent and a muddled friend who does everything wrong in his reluctant efforts to set everything right, and you have a hilarious evening of closed or slamming doors. This farce ran in London over eight years Hilarity the Copperstate way!
No Sex Please, We’re British is directed by Peter J. Hill, whom the Arizona Republic calls “Arizona’s Premier Farceur’ and stars Jesse Berger, Scott Connelly, Jennifer Hughes, Ashleigh Hunt, Noel Irick, George Pollard, Katrina Reyes, Norman Sheriff, and Richard Wells.
No Sex Please, We’re British will play at the Copperstate Dinner Theater, 3801 E. Washington inside the Phoenix Greyhound Park. Performances are AUGUST 26 - OCTOBER 2, 2005, Friday & Saturday evenings dinner 6:30, curtain 8:00. And Sunday Supper Shows with dinner 5:30 and curtain 7:00. The ticket price for all performances is only $32.95 per person which includes dinner and the show as well as tax and gratuity. Dinner is a sit-down service, not buffet. With a choice of four delicious entrees: prime rib, grilled salmon filet, teriyaki chicken breast, and vegetable lasagna. Meals come with side dishes, salad with choice of dressing, rolls and butter.
