Romance in ‘B’
Romance in ‘B’ celebrates a century of Broadway’s most beautiful love songs. A world premier musical revue featuring the unforgettably romantic music of Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Jerome Kern, Andrew Lloyd Webber and many, many others. Like all great Broadway musicals, Romance in ‘B’ follows the age-old formula: Act ! - Boy Meets Girl. Act 2 - Boy Loses Girl. Act 3 - Boy Gets Girl, all set to brand new arrangements of the world’s most romantic music. Romance in ‘B’ is created by the award-winning writer of Broadway by the Decade, Broadway Jukebox and From Berlin to Brooks, Peter J. Hill.
Romance in ‘B’ is directed and choreographed by Noel Irick, with musical direction by Judi Holmberg. It stars Copperstate Dinner Theater’s Artistic Director, Peter J. Hill, and Janine Smith.
Romance In ‘B’ will play at the Copperstate Dinner Theater, 3801 E. Washington inside the Phoenix Greyhound Park. Performances are APRIL 8 – MAY 22, 2005, Friday & Saturday evenings dinner 6:30, curtain 8:00. And Sunday Supper Shows with dinner 5:30 and curtain 7:00. The ticket price for all performances is only $32.95 per person which includes dinner and the show as well as tax and gratuity. Dinner is a sit-down service, not buffet. With a choice of four delicious entrees: prime rib, grilled salmon filet, teriyaki chicken breast, and vegetable lasagna. Meals come with side dishes, salad with choice of dressing, rolls and butter.
